The ‘Voice of Tan’ charts the story of Louis Victor Leborgne, a severely epileptic man from 19th century France and the first recorded case of Aphasia.
Unable to speak any word other then the word tan, Leborgne chooses to own his predicament and create a bold philosophy.
Leborgne offers the audience a choice of six words: one for each of the six directions of bodily movement . Will you go upwards, downwards, left, right, forwards or backwards to escape the limits of your world and join him at the horizon?
